Slano → Lopud
Depart from the sheltered harbour of Slano for a gentle 12-nautical-mile sail southeast towards the Elaphiti Islands, dropping anchor in the shallow, sandy expanse of Šunj Beach on Lopud's western side. This idyllic bay, fringed with pine trees, offers crystal-clear water perfect for an afternoon swim. Lopud itself is car-free, its quiet lanes leading to the 15th-century Franciscan monastery and church, a testament to the island's rich history. For dinner, step ashore to one of the beachfront konobas; the aroma of grilled squid and local herbs often fills the air as the cicadas begin their evening chorus. Moor stern-to in the bay or anchor carefully, mindful of the swimmers.
Things to do
Anchor in the sandy shallows of Šunj Beach
Walk to the Franciscan monastery and church
Enjoy grilled squid at a beachfront konoba
Swim in the clear turquoise waters of the bay
Mooring tip
Anchor in sand in 3-5 metres off Šunj Beach, or moor stern-to at the small quay; holding is good.

Lopud → Saplunara Bay (Mljet)
This 20-nautical-mile passage south brings you to Saplunara Bay on Mljet's southern coast, a quiet contrast to the northern side. Drop anchor in the sheltered waters of Blace Beach, a unique lagoon with fine sand and shallow, warm waters perfect for an early evening swim. The bay is framed by pine forests, and the air carries the scent of resin. For dinner, seek out Konoba Pomena, a simple eatery known for its grilled sea bream and local wine. As dusk settles, the only sounds will be the gentle lapping of waves and the chirping of cicadas, a perfect end to the day's sailing.
Things to do
Anchor in the shallow sandy lagoon of Blace Beach
Swim in the clear, warm waters of the bay
Enjoy grilled sea bream at Konoba Pomena
Walk the pine-fringed paths behind the beach
Mooring tip
Anchor in 3-5m sand in Blace Beach; holding is good. No facilities available, so provision before leaving Lopud.

Saplunara → Pomena (Mljet National Park)
Today's 10-nautical-mile passage north brings you into the serene embrace of Mljet National Park, dropping anchor in the sheltered harbour of Pomena. This island's western half, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, is car-free and hushed, save for the cicadas' hum. Launch your kayaks and paddle across the tranquil, jade-coloured waters of Veliko Jezero (Great Lake) to the islet housing the 12th-century Benedictine monastery of St. Mary. Later, explore the shaded cycling paths that crisscross the park, perhaps stopping at a lakefront konoba like Konoba Lanterna for fresh oysters and a glass of local rakija as the sun dips below the horizon. The air here carries the scent of pine and salt, a perfect prelude to a quiet evening.
Things to do
Kayak across Veliko Jezero to St. Mary's Isle
Cycle the shaded paths of Mljet National Park
Sample local oysters and rakija at Konoba Lanterna
Explore the car-free village of Pomena
Mooring tip
Anchor in Pomena's sandy bottom, 5-7 metres deep, holding well. Limited space; arrive early in high season.

Pomena → Lastovo (Zaklopatica Bay)
The 25-nautical-mile passage southeast to Lastovo is a rewarding sail, bringing you into a protected archipelago of immense natural beauty. Zaklopatica Bay, on the island's northern shore, offers a natural, fjord-like harbour with deep, clear water and excellent holding. Moor stern-to along the quay, with restaurant terraces just steps away. For a sunset excursion, take a taxi or rent a scooter to the island's highest point, the 160m-high Lastovo Lighthouse, for panoramic views across the archipelago and towards the Italian coast. The surrounding waters are renowned for their clarity, ideal for snorkelling around the numerous small islets and exploring underwater caves. Dining ashore at one of Zaklopatica's konobas, perhaps Konoba Fumari for grilled fish, is a must; the scent of pine resin from the surrounding hills fills the warm evening air as you enjoy local wine under a truly spectacular night sky.
Things to do
Sail into the protected Zaklopatica Bay

Snorkel the clear waters and underwater caves
Dine on fresh seafood at Konoba Fumari

Zaklopatica → Korčula Town
A 15-nautical-mile sail southwest brings you to Korčula Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site often called 'Little Dubrovnik'. The approach offers stunning views of the fortified old town, a peninsula crowned by St. Mark's Cathedral and ringed by formidable Venetian walls. Drop anchor in the clear waters of Luka Korčula, or secure a stern-to mooring at ACI Marina Korčula, ensuring you call ahead in high season. Spend the afternoon exploring the tightly packed, car-free stone lanes, perhaps pausing for a glass of crisp Grk wine at a konoba like Konoba Adio Mare. In the evening, consider the Moreska Sword Dance, a dramatic spectacle of clashing steel and colourful costumes performed in the open air, a tradition dating back centuries.

Anchor in the bay’s sandy bottom in 5-7 metres, the clear water inviting a pre-dinner swim. Ashore, the village is built around the remnants of a 5th-century Roman complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site. For panoramic views, the modest climb up Montokuc Hill rewards with sweeping vistas across the park’s lakes and the Pelješac channel, especially magical at sunset. Dine ashore at a local konoba, where squid ink risotto offers a rich, dark counterpoint to the cicada song at dusk.
