Kaprije → Telaščica Bay
The 15-nautical-mile run south brings you to Telaščica Nature Park, a deeply indented bay often compared to a fjord, with dramatic cliffs plunging 160 metres to the sea. Drop anchor in the sheltered waters near Mir Lake, a unique saltwater lagoon whose shallow waters warm like a bath, perfect for a pre-dinner float amongst the wild orchids. Telaščica Bay → NP Kornati, Piškera
Today’s 15-nautical-mile passage leads into the Kornati National Park, a scattering of 89 islands and islets resembling a lunar landscape. The stone walls, built centuries ago to delineate grazing land, trace intricate patterns across the slopes. Moor stern-to at ACI Marina Piškera, a small harbour frequented by sailors and a few local fishermen mending their nets. Spend the afternoon exploring the park’s secluded bays. The waters around Lavsa offer excellent shelter for paddleboarding, while the pebble beaches near Tarac village gleam with turquoise clarity. As dusk approaches, enjoy a barbecue on deck, watching the islands’ stark silhouettes fade against a tangerine sunset. The scent of pine resin from the sparse island vegetation will fill the air.
