Trogir → Veli Drvenik, Krknjaši bay
Depart Trogir mid-afternoon, a UNESCO World Heritage site where Romanesque and Renaissance architecture lines the narrow streets, for the short eight-nautical-mile hop west to Veli Drvenik. Krknjaši Bay awaits, a sheltered horseshoe bay on the island's eastern side, fringed by Aleppo pines. Drop anchor in the clear turquoise water, the seabed a sandy expanse perfect for holding. Take a refreshing swim before the sun dips below the horizon, casting a warm glow on the limestone cliffs. Dinghy ashore to Konoba Bila Lučica, where the scent of olive-wood embers signals dinner. Grilled local fish, paired with a carafe of house wine, provides a perfect introduction to the Dalmatian coast's simple pleasures. Veli Drvenik, Krknjaši bay → Primošten
Depart Veli Drvenik mid-morning for the 25-nautical-mile run northwest toward Primošten. As the coast of the mainland appears, consider a stop off the islet of Sovlje, a sheltered cove perfect for a refreshing swim and a pause before the final approach. Primošten itself is a picturesque peninsula, once an island, connected by a causeway. The old town's tightly packed stone houses cluster around the church of St. George, crowned by its iconic red roofs. Secure a stern-to mooring in the small harbour, mindful of the afternoon swell. Wander the narrow, lavender-scented lanes and seek out the unique 'stone heart' vineyard just outside town. As dusk settles, find a spot on the harbour wall with a glass of robust Babić wine, watching the sky paint the Adriatic in shades of rose and gold.

Primošten → Piškera, NP Kornati
The 18-mile run northwest into Kornati National Park is one of those passages crew members talk about for years afterward — eighty-nine treeless islands rising from cobalt water like the spine of a sleeping dragon. The park boundary is marked at sea; collect your daily pass on board (€60–80 per yacht depending on length) so the rangers can wave you through. Aim for Piškera island, anchoring in the sheltered bay near ACI Marina Piškera. Drop the dinghy and swim into the protected cove behind the marina — the seabed here drops cleanly into 30 metres of visibility, often patrolled by curious bream and the occasional dentex. The marina restaurant serves a respectable lobster spaghetti, but the real Kornati ritual is the after-sunset hike up the ridge track: ten minutes of sandalwood-scented air, then suddenly the whole crown of islands fanned out below in the violet hour. Arrive before 17:00 in high season — by 18:00 the marina is full.

Piškera → Zlarin
Depart Piškera for the 20-nautical-mile passage south-east towards Zlarin, a former centre of Adriatic coral harvesting. This island, car-free since 2019, offers a tranquil escape. Moor stern-to in the small harbour, then explore the Coral Heritage Museum to understand the island's unique history. A gentle hike through pine woods leads to secluded coves like Mala Ljuta on the southern coast. As dusk approaches, find a seat in the main square, perhaps at Konoba Antonijo, for a glass of local rakija. Watch the harbour water turn to molten amber as the day's last light catches the limestone buildings.

Zlarin → Skradin, NP Krka
Depart Zlarin mid-morning for the 12-nautical-mile passage inland, exchanging the salt spray for the scent of pine and river water as you approach NP Krka. The final leg is a delightful cruise upriver towards Skradin, passing the magnificent Skradinski Buk waterfalls. These cascade over travertine barriers into a series of jade-green pools. Anchor in the designated area off Skradin, then take the park's shuttle boat to the base of the falls for a refreshing swim amidst the thundering water. Later, explore the charming medieval town of Skradin, a former ducal seat. For dinner, seek out a local konoba for authentic peka, slow-cooked under embers, a culinary tradition that takes three hours to prepare. The cicadas will be singing as dusk settles over the Krka River.

Skradin → Rogoznica
Depart Skradin mid-morning for the 25-nautical-mile run south, a pleasant beam reach along the Dalmatian coast, passing the islands of Zlarin and Prvić. As you approach Rogoznica, the narrow channel opens into the large, sheltered bay of Kopari, with the town nestled on a peninsula. Moor stern-to in the ACI Marina, taking advantage of the town's recent infrastructure upgrades. A short walk across the causeway leads to the unique Dragon's Eye Lake (Zmajevo Oko), a saltwater crater with a rich local legend. For dinner, seek out a waterfront konoba in the old town, where fishermen might still be mending nets, and order the traditional brudet, a hearty fish stew simmered for hours. Rogoznica → Split
Cast off from Rogoznica mid-morning for the 25 NM passage northwest towards Split. Should the wind allow, a stop at the Blue Lagoon on the southern tip of Čiovo Island offers a final, crystal-clear swim before reaching the mainland. Anchor in the sandy bottom or pick up a mooring buoy if available. Arrive at ACI Marina Split by mid-afternoon, berthing stern-to with lazy-lines. The marina is adjacent to the UNESCO-listed Diocletian's Palace, its ancient stone walls glowing in the late afternoon sun. Take a stroll along the Riva promenade, perhaps enjoying a final gelato, before heading ashore for a farewell dinner at a restaurant within the palace walls, such as Konoba Marul.
