Zlarin → Skradin, NP Krka
Depart Zlarin this morning for the 15-nautical-mile passage inland, a gentle sail up the emerald Krka River, flanked by steep, forested slopes. The waterway opens into the charming stone village of Skradin, a historic river port dating back to Roman times. Dock stern-to at the Skradin waterfront promenade, a welcome change from the open sea. From here, arrange a tender or local boat transfer upstream to Krka National Park. Witness the park's famous Skradinski Buk waterfalls, a series of cascades creating clear, natural swimming pools. Arrive by midday to avoid the peak crowds and enjoy the scent of pine and damp earth before returning to Skradin for a quiet evening ashore.
Things to do
Sail inland up the Krka River to Skradin
Transfer by tender to Krka National Park
Swim in the natural pools below Skradinski Buk
Explore the historic stone village of Skradin
Mooring tip

Skradin → Kaprije
Depart Skradin mid-morning for the 20-nautical-mile passage east towards Kaprije island, a car-free haven scented with wild rosemary and fig. This is the Dalmatia of old, with hidden coves like Mala Kaprije offering sand like powdered sugar. Drop anchor in clear, protected waters, perhaps near the islets of Obonjan and Zminjak, before heading ashore. A rewarding trek leads to the island's chapel, offering 360-degree views of the surrounding Šibenik archipelago. For dinner, seek out a local konoba in Kaprije village, where generations have perfected 'gregada', a rich fish stew slow-cooked in traditional clay pots, best enjoyed as the evening sky turns apricot.
Things to do
Anchor in a secluded cove like Mala Kaprije
Hike to the island chapel for panoramic views
Snorkel in the clear waters of Stipa Bay
Sample traditional 'gregada' fish stew
Mooring tip
Anchor in sand and weed in 5-10m in Kaprije's main bay; holding is generally good.

Kaprije → Telaščica Bay
The 15-nautical-mile run south brings you to Telaščica Nature Park, a deeply indented bay often compared to a fjord, with dramatic cliffs plunging 160 metres to the sea. Drop anchor in the sheltered waters near Mir Lake, a unique saltwater lagoon whose shallow waters warm like a bath, perfect for a pre-dinner float amongst the wild orchids. The park is also home to a herd of wild donkeys, often seen grazing amongst the ancient olive groves. For the more adventurous, a challenging hike along the clifftop path, known as the 'Stene', offers breathtaking sunset vistas across the Kornati islands, followed by a bracing plunge into the deep blue waters of the bay.
Things to do
Anchor in Telaščica bay near Mir Lake
Swim in the naturally heated saltwater lagoon
Hike the 'Stene' cliffs for panoramic sunset views
Observe wild donkeys grazing in olive groves
Mooring tip
Anchor in the southern part of Telaščica bay in sand/posidonia, or stern-to at the small pier if space permits.

Telaščica Bay → NP Kornati, Piškera
Today’s 15-nautical-mile passage leads into the Kornati National Park, a scattering of 89 islands and islets resembling a lunar landscape. The stone walls, built centuries ago to delineate grazing land, trace intricate patterns across the slopes. Moor stern-to at ACI Marina Piškera, a small harbour frequented by sailors and a few local fishermen mending their nets. Spend the afternoon exploring the park’s secluded bays. The waters around Lavsa offer excellent shelter for paddleboarding, while the pebble beaches near Tarac village gleam with turquoise clarity. As dusk approaches, enjoy a barbecue on deck, watching the islands’ stark silhouettes fade against a tangerine sunset. The scent of pine resin from the sparse island vegetation will fill the air.

Explore Lavsa's secluded bays by dinghy
Swim at Tarac's turquoise pebble beaches
Hike the ridge above Piškera for sunset views
Enjoy a barbecue dinner on deck
Mooring tip

Piškera → Jezera (Murter)
Depart ACI Marina Piškera for the 15-nautical-mile run south to the charming harbour of Jezera on Murter Island, navigating through the Kornati's southern approaches. The island is known for its dense pine forests and secluded bays, perfect for a midday swim stop. Consider anchoring in the clear waters off Pod Jaškovodom for a dip before proceeding to Jezera. Here, life unfolds around the fishing boats and stone houses, a world away from the usual charter bustle. Konoba Brošćica offers a taste of authentic Dalmatia with its slow-cooked pasticada, a dish prepared with three-hour tradition, best enjoyed under a canopy of vines as the cicadas sing. For your final swim, paddle a kayak towards the distant Čigraada Lighthouse or find your own patch of sand at Slanica Beach before settling in for the night.

Anchor in Pod Jaškovodom for a tranquil swim
Savour pasticada at Konoba Brošćica
Kayak to Čigraada Lighthouse at sunset
Relax on Slanica Beach

Your final passage heads 15 nautical miles south to Primošten, a charming mainland town crowned by a church on a peninsula. You'll glide past the nearby islets often called the 'Croatian Maldives,' where shallow shoals create impossible shades of turquoise and sapphire. Moor stern-to in Primošten's bustling harbour, securing alongside the quay or finding a spot on the town's outer breakwater. Disembark and immediately begin exploring the stepped, stone-paved streets of the old town, a car-free labyrinth offering constant sea views. Ascend to the Church of St. George for a panoramic vista, then find a cliffside konoba to savour local Babič wine as the setting sun turns the distant islands to gold, reflecting on a week of Croatian sailing.
